Mt Sterling's producers take a hands on approach to their involvement with the co-op.  For this reason, some of them sell the Mt Sterling product through their own personal accounts.  This effort is supported and encouraged by the co-op through our Producer Marketing Program.  Any producer-member may establish a web link for their farm website on our links page.  You may contact a producer personally about their operation or buying opportunities.

At The Farm:

Our co-op producers operate traditional family farms and practice time-honored methods by pasturing their herds in the spring, summer, and fall months .  We are united in our desire to produce high quality dairy goat products.  That is why the RBGH hormone is not used by any producers in this co-op.  The facilities of each producer located in our tri-state area are inspected by each state's Dept. of Ag.  Our cheese factory is routinely inspected by the State of Wisconsin.  Each time milk is picked up at a producer's farm, it is sampled and tested for quality.
